It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves*

We salute the life of outstanding New Zealand mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary, who in 1953, with Sherpa Tenzing Norgay were the first men to conquer Everest.

By all accounts a humble humanitarian as well.

Mountaineer
1 1/2 oz Blended Whiskey
1/4 tsp. Dry Vermouth
1/4 tsp. Sweet Vermouth
1/4 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 Egg White

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
